Ice Cream at the Wedding - a Marriage Made in Heaven

We are excited to share that a recent LBI bride and groom included five of our ice cream sheet cakes to be served at their wedding reception. The couple chose an eclectic assortment of flavors including a Strawberry/Chocolate cake, a Mint Chip/Vanilla cake and a Peanut Butter/Chocolate cake. With recent temperatures above 90 degrees, an ice cream cake may be the coolest dessert (both figuratively and literally) to celebrate with. Everyone at Skipper wishes the young couple love, health, and happiness ever after.

We're buzzin' with excitement to announce a brand new ice cream flavor for the 2008 season. Introducing Caramel Coffee Toffee - which with Coffee and Java Chunk, brings our coffee-based flavors up to three. So come in and satisfy your ice cream fix and coffee fix at the same time!

After rocking out to the B-52's Love Shack at a recent wedding, we got to thinking about the Skipper Dipper flavor graveyard - Tin Roof, Butter Brickle, and one of our all-time favorites, Caramel Maltball Merger. What happens to those old flavors and where do relatively new ones like Moosetracks and Cake N' Ice Cream come from?
